CAMPBELLSVILLE SOFTBALL 2010

GENERAL RULES:

1. All rules will be NSA rules unless determined otherwise.
2. 1-1 count for all games, no extra foul .
3. 1 hr. time limit. At the end of inning, game will become a one pitch until game is
completed.
4. 20-15-10 run rule .
5. 1 Courtesy Runner per inning. Last out made.
6. May hit as many people as you want in batting order. If player cannot play and there is
no sub, it is an out.
7. No forfeits are required. We will begin when umpire says play ball. You can play with
whatever number you have. There are no outs for blank spots. Players can be added when
they show up. Cannot exceed 10 players in this situation.
8. Once game begins, players cannot be added to lineup except in case of #7.
9. Language Rule: Any player that curses including "Oh God" "Jesus"
etc. will result in an out for that team. A batter does not loose his opportunity to hit and
out is just put on the team. If it happens to a team in the field, it will be applied the next
time the team comes to bat. This rule can be carried over to the next game. Watch your
language.
10. Ball stamped as CBC will be balls allowed. You will be furnished with a dozen before
the season and can purchase extra balls at $3.75 each.
11. HR Limits- coed open. All other leagues 4 HR and an out.
12. If a player is thrown out of the game, he will face a one game suspension.
13. Players must play 40% of regular season games to play in tournament.
14. First play team trophy for best record in regular season with trophy and t-shirts for
tournament champion.
15. Rosters are open until after the fifth game. Players may be added the night of the game.
16. Players must be at least 16 years old to play.

 SPECIFIC RULES FOR VARIOUS LEAGUES:

Men's and Coed Church League
1. All Church leagues: Players are divided into two categories: (1) members (2) guests
Definition: Members- Players that are members of the church or regularly attending
before the season starts. Guest- Those not in member categories.
2. Each team may only have 4 guests in lineup at a time. They may have more on roster but
can never have more than 4 in the lineup.
3. A player may play for the church he is a member or one that he is regularly attending.
4. If a player's church of which he is a member and regularly attends has a team, he may
not be considered a guest on another team.
5. If a player is a member of a church but has not regularly attended for a significant
amount of time he may be considered a guest on another team. These will be given to
league commissioner for final approval.
6. Any team using an illegal player will be forced to forfeit all games that the player has
played in.
7. All rosters will be approved and signed by pastor of the church.
8. 2 Churches can combine, but cannot have guest players.

COED
1. Men will hit big ball, women small ball.
2. Men must bat weak handed.
3. Male and Female players must alternate in batting order.
4. Can never play more men and than women, but may play more women than men.
5. Must have 2 Female infielders, 2 Male Infielders; 2 Female Outfielders, 2 Male
Outfielders; Pitcher and Catcher will be one female other male.
6. If male walks, women have option of hitting or walking. If they choose to hit, male gets
second base regardless of number of outs.

 INDUSTRIAL LEAGUE
1. Players must be employed by company or receiving unemployment from company.
2. Specialized work forces can apply to be a company team. Determined by league director.

OPEN
Anyone that wants to play may play.
We will have an ail star game for each group, if we have more than 6 teams in the league.
All league and MVP will be chosen for each league.
